Why do we study Chemistry ? To make a living, to pursue a career, to make the world a better place? These questions keep us wondering for a lifetime. Everybody wants to know how much does it cost and how should it be done. We will provide you an answer for this particular question in this blog post. Keep reading! -Pradeep Kumar Chemist/ Lecturer, Harsha University Chemistry is one of those things that people want to start as early as possible but don't really understand the process behind learning chemistry. The general understanding is that chemistry can help us earn money or develop new technology but physics and math are also useful fields. This is why i have compiled a list of topics which are useful for everyone regardless of your current major. The structure of atoms provides endless possibilities for chemistry. Every time you see a molecule, the structure is the first thing that comes to mind. The study of molecules can help us find ways to store information, create new materials, make better drugs, and even solve problems in the world around us. What are molecules? : Molecules are collections of atoms held together by chemical bonds. A molecule is an object with a great deal of molecular energy which cannot be changed without breaking chemical bonds. There are many different types of molecules but all do one or more things well. How do we study chemical reactions ?: A chemical reaction involves at least two chemicals reacting with one another. The reactants and products of a chemical reaction are called reactants and products respectively. A chemical reaction occurs when there is a transfer of electrons or energy from one molecule to another often leading to the creation or destruction of new molecules. Reversible and Irreversible Reactions: The laws of thermodynamics say that matter is always changing, even though we cannot see it. When an object changes under the influence of an external force, its energy must diminish or increase, but it is transformed into a different form and never stays constant. What is the difference between chemistry and biology? : There are many similarities between the two subjects. Both biology and chemistry involve conducting experiments, observing results, developing hypothesis, and formulating mathematical equations. The only difference is that chemistry discusses chemical reactions which cause changes in chemical species (e.g., hydrogen bonding) where biology discusses biological processes (e.g., converting sugar into ATP). What are common mistakes students make while studying chemistry? : One common mistake students make while studying chemistry is not understanding what else they want to learn along with it. Often times students focus too much on their major and neglect other areas of study such as how to learn more about chemistry or how to understand concepts more quickly. What are the basics of chemistry? : Chemistry is a branch of science which deals with the study of matter. Matter can be divided into two categories, solids and liquids, which are typically called as solids or solids. There are several sub-categories which are likely to contain more types of chemicals. What is the relationship between chemistry and biology? : The relationship between chemistry and biology is one that can be traced back hundreds, if not thousands, of years. Back then, organisms that were able to create change in their environment through chemical reactions were given special attention since they could have an effect on both man’s livelihood as well as help animals live longer. cfa1e77820
